Disney hopes Vanessa Hudgens learns her lesson
'High School Musical' star, Vanessa Hudgens, who, yesterday apologized for the naked photos of her that surfaced on the internet this week, has had now had to deal with a few words of wisdom from the lovely people at the Disney Channel, reports Us magazine.
A spokesperson for the Disney Channel told the magazine: "Vanessa has apologized for what was obviously a lapse in judgment. We hope she's learned a valuable lesson."
In response to the rumors that Vannesa Hudgen's moment of indiscretion may be leading Disney to re-cast her High School Musical role, the spokesperson added, "Walt Disney Studios, as a matter of policy, doesn't comment on ongoing negotiations."
In her apology, an embarrassed Vanessa said:
“I want to apologize to my fans, whose support and trust means the world to me. I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos. I am thankful for the support of my family and friends.”

Vanessa Hudgens is a beautiful girl, and the nude picture floating around (see it at www dot isthisguyserious dot com) is incredible, but she is far too young to be trying to get publicity this way. Don't get me wrong, I've looked at the picture a number of times now and I like it, and while I agree that a role-model can still make mistakes this is pretty ludicrous. What gets me is that when I was 18, my girlfriends were doing stuff like this, and it wasn't a big deal. Is there a way to stop it? Is there a way to make it seem like this is not so socially acceptable?

If they choose that skank to play the role of Gabriella in High School Musical, I seriously refuse to watch the movie. Disney shouldn't encourage such behavior from such a nasty little girl. Vanessa has dropped down to such a low rank, and should only be known as the slut she really is.
