Brad Pitt says the media created rivalry between Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston

Brad Pitt recently defended his and ex-wife Jennifer Aniston’s relationship, when he said they had a “deep friendship.” He also claims the rivalry between his partner Angelina Jolie and Aniston was manufactured by the media.

“Do you find it upsetting how the media still has an obsessive interest in linking Jen and Angelina?” Pitt said. “It’s so manufactured. (Angie andI) don't pay attention to it. I hear that they drag my name into it. She doesn’t deserve any of this. She is the most open, loving woman you’ll ever come across. They make things up and make money off of it. I am surprised about that.”

Pitt and Jolie started a family together soon after he divorced Aniston. Jolie and Pitt have three adopted children and one biological daughter. They recently expressed their desire to add another child to the family.
