Jennifer Hudson for ‘Sex and the City’ movie

Actress Jennifer Hudson has reportedly joined the cast of the ‘Sex and the City’ movie. Hudson is well known for her Oscar winning performance in ‘Dreamgirls.’

The 25-year-old actress landed a role as the assistant to Sarah Jessica Parker’s character, Carrie Bradshaw. Hudson joins the original cast of the hit HBO show which includes Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon. Chris north will also return as Mr. Big.

The Sex and the City movie is scheduled to begin filming on September 19.
