Kanye West says MTV "exploited" him and Britney Spears
Rapper Kanye West has lashed out against MTV, after leaving empty-handed from Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards - accusing the network of misleading him, and exploiting troubled singer Britney Spears.
On Monday, Kanye spoke to 'Deejay JJ' at New York radio station Z100: "They exploited Britney in helping to end her career," "When Britney was opening, near the end, I felt so bad for her. I said, 'Man, it's a dirty game. This game will chew you up and spit you out.'
People.com reports that Kanye West continued to tell the Z100 DJ he felt misled and "betrayed" by the network, and has promised to never work with MTV again. West has also said he has already canceled planned appearances on MTV's TRL to promote his new album, 'Graduation'. Specifically, West takes issue with the way performances were set up – that he should have performed on the main stage and not from a private suite where many artists performed for small groups of fans throughout the telecast.
"I wasn't mad that I just didn't win any awards," West says. "For me, [MTV] made it seem like performing on the main stage was a bad thing, and the suites were just so great. It was my dream when I made 'Stronger' to open up the VMAs with a real power performance.

We the people are sick and tired of all the crappy shows and want more music! What happened? When I say more music... I say you should casts votes on your website and let us decide what we want!
Your network pays all this money to your employees to come up with shows and in all "reality" it is up to the viewers on what we want to watch! We want more music! Cast a vote and you will see!
You play the same shows over and over again! Why would we want to see the same episode a million times! We are in a world with the capabilities of recording the episodes! I know! You could be playing more music instead! Just a thought!

No offense to Britney spears! I must say though, why in the hell would you let her open when she has not had a hit song in awhile! Britney had no chance to prepare in time! It did not seem like your network even cared as long as your network had your so called ratings.
