Amy Winehouse gets a jukebox for her birthday
Troubled British singer Amy Winehouse turned 24 yesterday, and her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil "hunted high and low" to buy Amy a Fifties style jukebox.
A source told British newspaper The Sun: “Blake really wanted to get something from the Fifties for Amy’s birthday.
“He has had it lined up for ages and managed to get it delivered in time for the big day.
“He is obsessed with the Forties and Fifties — and so is Amy.”
The Sun also reports, that Civil-Fielder Fifties cocktail-themed club night at The Griffin pub in Shoreditch, East London, and Winehouse's current, and hugely successful album "Back To Black" was heavily influenced by girl groups of the Fifties and Sixties.
