George Clooney in motorbike crash with girlfriend

According to reports, Actor George Clooney and his girlfriend, Sarah Larson have been involved in a motorcycle accident, and were treated in hospital - after the bike was struck by a car in New Jersey.

According to People.com, George's rep said: Clooney suffered a hairline fracture of a rib and road rash, and Larson suffered a broken foot.

People.com is also reporting that According to police, Clooney was driving his Harley-Davidson north on Boulevard East in Weehawken, N.J., at 3:30 in the afternoon when he was hit by an oncoming car, that apparently attempted to make a right turn from the left lane.

Sarah Larson reportedly  had several cuts on her face and an injury to her foot and was taken away by ambulance.

Clooney was seen driving away from the scene on his Harley - and then met Larson at the hospital.

Clooney told the police he was driving in the right lane when the other driver sped up to try and pass him before making the right turn, according to Kelly. But Sciancaledore told police it was Clooney who was trying to pass cars in the right lane, Kelly says.

The crash is under investigation.
