Pete Doherty reunites with dad

According to reports, troubled British rocker Pete Doherty reunited with his estranged this weekend, and friends of Pete are insisting the singer is making an attempt to beat his drug addiction.

Pete's Dad, an Army major vowed that he'd never see his son again - unless he got clean of cocaine and heroin. 

Doherty's four-year-old son,  Astile was also present at the reunion.

Doherty's manager is quoted by The Sun newspaper as saying:  “He has realized the important things in his life.

“He wants to be a father to his son — and a son to his father. He sees a future without drugs.”

The Sun also reports that a pal of Pete said the 'Babyshambles' singer is looking for a house in the country - when he leaves rehab in October: “He wants to avoid the temptations. He’s looking for a country house.”
