David Beckham left distraught when father forgets his name

David Beckham was left distraught after watching his dad Ted Beckham forget who his famous son was, and forgetting his name.

He could not recognise David's sister Jo's name either, which added to the upsetting circumstances that have materialised in the last few days.

The LA Galaxy flop flew back to England to aid his father, who had had a heart attack.

A source told The Sun: "David, Jo and Lynne were all incredibly upset."

Ted, whose real name is also David, is expected to be released from hospital by the end of today.
