David Beckham admits it was his fault over dad's heart attack

David Beckham has finally admitted that he was partly (at least) at fault for his father's heart attack, which happened a week ago, and saw the LA Galaxy star fly back to England with his family to aid him.

Ted Beckham, 59, is still recovering from the attack, caused by stress over not paying his bills and general poverty in his house. But did he get any help from the star studded Becks? The answer is a blunt 'No'.

It emerged on Saturday that Ted's heart stopped beating for FOUR minutes after he collapsed from a massive coronary on Wednesday night.

Against all the odds, he was resuscitated by an ambulance crew en route to hospital.

He has since had emergency open-heart surgery to clear a blocked artery and valve.

Friends say when anxious David, 32, arrived on Thursday night after a 6,000-mile dash from Los Angeles, he knelt at his father's bedside and told him: "I'm sorry. This is my fault."
