David Beckham turns to Gordon Ramsay for support
Footballer David Beckham has turned to celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay for some much needed support following his Dad's recent [near fatal] heart attack.
The LA Galaxy soccer superstar reportedly confided in pal Ramsay for more than an hour as they ate at a posh LA restaurant.
Ramsay, who's currently filming in the States had phoned Beckham who is struggling to cope with being so far away from his sick Dad, aged 59.
An onlooker at the posh eatery told The Sun newspaper: “It wasn’t a usual lads’ night out. They were really deep in conversation.
“David looked worn out and stressed. He needed someone to talk to.”
The wealthy Brits dined at exclusive Beverly Hills restaurant Spago on Saturday night. Becks however, rignored the smart dress code, and wore a cardigan and untucked white shirt.
Meanwhile, Beckham has offered to buy Ted, 59 2 new homes - a friend of Beckham family said: “Ted’s heart attack made David realise how much his dad means to him.
“They’d drifted apart and at one point weren’t even speaking. Before the heart attack they hadn’t seen each other since April.
“But David’s determined that will all change now.
“He truly wants to prove to Ted that he loves him and wants him back in his life.
“The new homes are a peace offering. The apartment in Los Angeles is near to David’s family place so now Ted can see them all regularly, like Victoria’s parents do, and be a proper grandfather to the boys.”
“Ted doesn’t want to move to the States permanently but he’s looking forward to seeing more of David.
“Becks is a very caring lad and wants to make his dad’s life as easy as possible after this big scare.” David Beckham made the generous gesture after flying 6,000 miles to be at Ted’s East London bedside.
