P Diddy admits to fathering illegitimate child

P Diddy has reportedly admitted that he is the father of a 15 month old child - after recent DNA proved that the 'Bad Boy For Life' rapper was the baby's biological father.

Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs has also agreed to financially support the tot and his mother, Sarah Chapman from Atlanta.

Us Magazine reports that Diddy said: "At first, I wasn't sure if this was my child."

He added: "Now that it has become clear she is, I will take care of her for the rest of her life."

Sean 'P Diddy' Combs told the New York Daily News’ Rush and Molloy that he's "committed to being a good father" to his daughter, Chance, and sources tell the newspaper that he has already worked out visitation and support terms with Chapman.

When Essence magazine had previously asked Diddy's longtime girlfriend, Kim Porter whether news of the child contributed to their split in June - she replied, "Hmmm...Well, that definitely was part of it.”
