Pete Doherty gives impromptu performance at pub

Pete Doherty reportedly gave an impromptu performance at a country pub this weekend, after his band 'Babyshambles' got to No5 in the UK album charts yesterday with 'Shotter’s Nation' & in celebration - after being released from rehab the previous week, according the British newspaper The Sun, the troubled rocker couldn't resist nipping to his new local (pub) to celebrate with a few pints of Guinness.

An onlooker said: “It was a normal Saturday night until Pete rocked up.

“As soon as word got out, the place was packed and people were begging him to sing.

“He was asking for pints of Guinness as he paused between the tracks and was kissing all the girls who asked for one.

“It was a really great atmosphere.”

Meanwhile, Doherty reportedly attempted suicide whilst in rehab, Pete, Overcome with jealousy,  downed an entire bottle of pills in a desperate bid to block out the pain.

But, unfortunately for Pete - things didn’t quite work out for him - he failed in the suicide bid after he was violently sick.

Despite his despair over Kate, the Babyshambles frontman made it out of Clouds House clinic in Wiltshire this week — after apparently six weeks off the drugs, but the ‘Babyshambles’ front man has apparently piled on the pounds since his rehab stint.
