The Spice Girls dance like six-year-olds, say Mel B
Singer Mel B (AKA 'Scary Spice') has said that her band, the newly reformed 'Spice Girls' "dance like six-year-olds", and joked that her years of performing on stage with the girl band hasn't helped her prepare for celebrity talent series 'Dancing With The Stars' - because the moves were so simple.
She told Ellen DeGeneres: "Well, the Spice Girls performed routines for six-year-olds. Everyone can do it!"
However, the 'Wannabe' hit maker heaped praise on her fellow DWTS competitor Jane Seymour, who decided to continue with the show despite her beloved mother dying last week.
She added: "Surprisingly, yes, she is still going on with the show. She's garnered the strength together. But I think she was doing it for her mother. So more power to her."
Brown also admitted that she was "amazed" when tickets for the Spice Girls' forthcoming 'The Return of the Spice Girls' world reunion tour sold out in minutes.
She said: "I was amazed. I did actually think, 'How is that possible. Is there a lot of people on the phone in one big room?' I don't get it. I was really shocked. Wow! We really have to do it now."
Later this year, the Spice Girls will be touring Vancouver, Canada, on December 2 and includes dates in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, Madrid, Sydney and London.
Meanwhile, the Spice Girls have reportedly hired a Boeing 757 for their upcoming tour - the jet has been hired to transport Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell – plus their families, management, wardrobe and make-up assistants and bodyguards.
A source told the Daily Mail: “Spice Force One will be a flying palace”
‘Spice force one’ will also include a dining room, business center, state-of-the-art bathrooms, a media center and sleeping quarters.
The source added: “Along with the immediate entourage, the girls will have a team of chefs and nannies who will be on hand 24/7 to feed and look after all the VIPs on board.”
