Lily Allen fires her management
Lily Allen, who recently claimed to have lost weight through the power of hypnosis has reportedly fired her management company "after her year of hell".
Britain's Mirror newspaper is reporting that the 'Smile' singer dumped Empire Management, blaming them for her disastrous assault on America which saw her banned from the United States when her visa was revoked, forcing her to axe some of her important tour dates.
The paper also reports that sources close to 22-year old Lily said that she felt like she [Lily] needed to make a "fresh start" after suffering several career blows throughout 2007 and failing to win any major awards.
Lily's hoping that by ending her relationship with Empire, who also look after the careers of British singers Natasha and Daniel Bedingfield, The Feeling and Estelle, she can relaunch her career as she gets to work on her second album.
Although the singer is working on a deal with Empire to take her personal manager, and close pal Adrian Jolly with her, she feels she has gone as far as she can with them.
A source told the Mirror: "She is still fuming about the business with her visa being revoked. She felt it was her year to break America and blames her management for not getting it sorted out.
"It meant pulling out of the MTV Video Music Awards and also meant she couldn't carry out her promise to tour there in September."
Empire refused to comment on Lily's decision, but wished the singer luck in the future.
