Heather Mills to get $100 million
Sir Paul McCartney is to give his estranged wife, Heather Mills $100 million, it has been confirmed.
The settlement is around 5 times more than Heather originally demanded from Paul.
According to reports, the former couple decided on the settlement to avoid a lengthy legal battle for the sake of daughter their three year-old daughter Beatrice.
Negotiations to finalize the pair's agreement will begin in the High Court Family Division today.
The Sun newspaper quotes a source close to the case as saying: “£50million ($100 million) is the figure they seem to have finally settled on, subject to the lawyers rubber-stamping all the details.
“The legal people will now thrash out the details which could take a couple more weeks to finalise.
“But the biggest issue was always going to be the scale of the settlement — and this is no longer an obstacle.”
The paper also quotes a pal of 39-year-old Heather Mills as saying: “It’s Bea’s fourth birthday on October 30.
“Both Paul and Heather wanted closure on the case before that. It looks like that’ll now happen.”
Both Paul and Heather will have regular access to Beatrice and the former Beatles star will pay all her living expenses.
Heather’s pal added: “Before the case came to court Heather would have settled for £10million.
But, according to reports - Paul was keen to go before a judge.
“Her solicitors said she’d get far more in court as he’s worth so much — it seems they were right.”
Sir Paul, 65, has an estimated £825million fortune. His four-year marriage ended last year.
A strict condition of the agreement is a gagging clause to stop Heather talking about life married to the singing legend.
A spokesmen for the pair has refused to comment.

50 millions pounds, for what
50 millions pounds, for what exactly? perhaps Paul thinks it's worth it to get this monster out of his life for good.
She is like a terminal disease, merciless and unfair and evil.
God bless Linda, the wrong wife died.
