Michelle Ryan will be 'the next Angelina Jolie', claims Chris Parker

Michelle Ryan, who's best known for her role as Zoe Slater in the BBC soap is currently taking the US by storm staring in revamped TV show Bionic Woman.

Speaking to Closer magazine Parker said: “Michelle’s going to be a huge star. She’s incredibly sexy and her performance is amazing. You won’t believe it’s the same girl.”

Chris also spends half his time living in LA. He revealed: “Her picture is everywhere out there – she’s on billboards and adverts on buses.”

Since she landed her new role Michelle, who has admitted battling weight issues in the past, has slimmed down through a mix of gym sessions, boxing and on-set fight scenes, but there are fears that she could struggle with America’s ‘size zero’ culture.

Chris agrees: “There’ll be a lot of pressure on her to maintain a slim figure, especially when she’ not filming. In LA, everybody looks immaculate – even the ugly people are groomed!”

He added: “If she is worried about all the LA stick insects, I’d say: ’Don’t change a thing!’ I know she’s excited to be filming but she misses her family and home-cooked meals.”
