Michelle Scott-Lee loses 1st 4lbs in just two months

28-year-old Michelle Scott-Lee has blamed the comfort of married life for her weight gain - she wed singer Andy Scott-Lee in October last year and weighed 9st when she walked up the aisle. It was on her honeymoon that the weight gain started: "We went to the Maldives on honeymoon and I enjoyed big dinners and creamy cocktails, so by the time we came home I'd put the 7lbs I'd lost for the wedding back on. After that my weight crept up because I was so relaxed and happy with Andy."

By May Michelle was up to 10st 4lbs and a picture of herself taken at this year's BAFTA Television Awards shocked her into dieting. She told Closer magazine:" I knew when I saw that picture it was time to lose weight. My face looked so round, I had bingo wings and I bulging out of my dress. Earlier that evening I'd been given a rail of dresses to try on, but I could only get in to one - and even that was tight on me!"
By following a balanced diet, reducing fatty foods, cutting down on alcohol and exercising with a personal trainer three times a week Michelle lost 6 inches off her waist in 8 weeks.

"For breakfast I'd have scrambled egg whites with tomatoes and mushrooms, or porridge. Lunch would be a green salad with tuna and a home-made fruit smoothie. Then for dinner I'd have grilled salmon and asparagus or chicken with veg", she says.

Despite her strict regime Michelle managed to enjoy a girls' night out with best friend Jordan where she swapped calorific cocktails for vodka. "Katie and I went out and she tried to tempt me with curries and champagne, but I resisted," she says. "She can eat and drink anything and stay thin. She has an amazing figure - I'm jealous!"

Now back to 9st the former 'Liberty X singer has said that she loves her new body and feels fit and healthy: "It used to take me 45 minutes to walk up a hill near where I live. Now it takes me the same amount of time to run up it and run for another four miles!"
