Victoria Beckham furious with Geri Halliwell
Victoria Beckham is said-to-be furious at her fellow Spice Girl Geri Halliwell's - after she reveled plans to perform her solo hits on the Spice Girls' forthcoming world tour.
Victoria is reportedly adamant that Geri, who quit the band in 1998 to pursue a solo career - should not be allowed to sing a selection of her own her hits when the girls hit the road in December.
A source close to Posh Spice said: "Victoria is adamant she won't do it. When she signed up, one major stipulation was that Geri will not sing solo."
The row is threatening to divide the Spice Girls, with fellow members Emma Bunton and Mel C reportedly siding with Geri, while Mel B is against the idea.
Geri and Victoria are also said to be clashing over the stage outfits the five-piece will wear. Victoria wants classy costumes, while Geri wants flamboyant outfits like those they were famed for in their 90s heyday.
An insider told Star magazine: "Victoria and Geri have come a long way since they were last in the Spice Girls, and they have completely different ideas of what will work on the road.
"With her fashion background, Victoria considers herself to be the key player in deciding the outfits and overall look of the band, but Geri is adamant that she has her say too."
Meanwhile, Posh reportedly shocked nurses at the hospital where she was visiting husband David Beckham's sick dad Ted, 59 after her suffered a heart attack earlier this month when she turned her nose up at a hot drink that was made using tap water - A source close to the star said: “She was offered a cup of coffee by one of the staff,” said another visitor to the London Chest Hospital.
“But he wanted to know what kind of water had it been made with—bottled or tap. Obviously it was tap water and she said, ‘No, thank you’.
“The staff were bemused. Water is boiled anyway, so people didn’t understand what the problem was.”
