Amy Winehouse teams up with Pete Doherty for new duet
Pete Doherty and Amy Winehouse recently recorded a new track together, which sees Amy showcasing her impressive guitar playing skills as well as her singing talents.
Pete's bandmate, guitarist Mick Whitnall, said: "It's a ska-type track. Amy's playing guitar on it and singing as well.
"She plays better than James Brown playing acoustic guitar. She thinks she's shit but she's not. I've never met a man who plays like that, let alone a girl."
Pete - who recently left a Wiltshire rehab center after a six-week stint for drug addiction - is not the only singer who wants to work with Amy.
It has also been revealed that former 'Wham!' singer George Michael also wants to duet with the 24-year-old 'Rehab' star.
George said: "I have written a song for Amy and I hope she likes it. I would love us to record it together, but we will have to see what she says."
And the singer was also previously quoted as saying: “Amy is the best female vocalist I have ever heard in my entire career, as well as one of the best writers. So all I can say now is, ‘Please, please understand how brilliant you are’ and I wish her every success in the future, and I know she can get past the media.
“I don’t know if she can get past other things, but she’s a fantastic talent, and we should all support her.”
