Ellen DeGeneres Sensationally Cancels Friday Recording

October 19 2007

Ellen

In a long and emotional week, reports tell us that Ellen DeGeneres has sensationally cancelled Friday's recording of her show.

"Ellen is taking a long weekend and will be back with a new show on Tuesday," reads a message posted at 1:52 p.m. Thursday on her talk show's Web site.

She went bonkers last week - when crying with brute emotion over a dog who she had once owned and adopted - who had gone back to live with a pet rescue centre - due to horrible and vile care from some hairdressers - what do you expect from that riff raff?

The next day, the talk show host decided to devote the whole show to return that miserable dog, Iggy (Pop) to the family, despite it being adopted many times since they originally owned it - stupid woman.

DeGeneres said on Thursday's show that she would stop discussing Iggy publicly, but that she was still holding out hope for the dog's return. Thank God!

Um, I hope you're being sarcastic. If you're not, get your facts right. They did not take away the dog because of poor living conditions.

Perhaps the focus should be

Perhaps the focus should be the celebrity mentality which has them thinking that they don't
have to abide by the rules, or even the law. How that they think all their fame, and riches insulates, and isolates them from the burdens the rest of us have to bear. I commend the pet agency
which stood up to her, her being analagous to the
Hollywood golden idol, to bring it crashing down.
In my opinion she wanted to "seek" the public, her public, on this agency like a guardian pet German Shepherd, to tear them apart at least verbally, which I think is what happened. She knew what she was doing with her on-air sobbing.
Another thing to consider: maybe the adoption
agency in question has a waiting list, and Ellen's
friends were not on it. How long did Ellen's friends have the dog. Could it be that some drama
was going on, on their part?
Have a great weekend all!
