Spice Girls extend UK leg of tour

The Spice Girls have today announced that they are extending the UK leg of their world tour - by adding two more shows to the line-up.
The extended dates will see the girls perform at Manchester's MEN Arena on January 23rd and 24th.
Their tour begins in Vancouver, Canada, on December 2.
Britain's The Mirror newspaper reports that onver one million fans applied for tickets to the UK concerts, which sold out in a mere 38 seconds.
Their first date in the UK will be at London's O2 Arena on December 15, followed by a further 16 shows in London before the band head for Manchester.
Tickets for the Manchester concerts go on sale on Friday October 26.
Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham is reportedly 'furious' with Geri Halliwell -after she reveled plans to perform her solo hits on the Spice Girls’ forthcoming world tour.
Victoria is reportedly adamant that Geri, who quit the band in 1998 to pursue a solo career - should not be allowed to sing a selection of her own her hits when the girls hit the road in December.
A source close to Posh Spice said: “Victoria is adamant she won’t do it. When she signed up, one major stipulation was that Geri will not sing solo.”
