Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes return to US
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have reportedly landed back in the US after Tom was busy in Germany filming scenes for his latest thriller movie 'Valkyrie'.
A source on set of 'Valkyrie', who would not reveal their whereabouts told Us magazine: "I was told it's New York."
According to Us magazine, the source also added that Cruise is returning to Berlin October 24 "maybe with Katie" for a screening of his upcoming Robert Redford drama Lions for Lambs .
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes are encouraged by the The Church of Scientology - the sci-fi cult of which they are both devout followers, to “support” their 18-month-old daughter, and not “scold” her.
A source close to the Hollywood couple said: “Tom and Katie have a hard time saying no to Suri. It’s all about being positive and supportive. Scientology advises parents to try to be the child’s friend. They don’t scold their children, but instead explain that bad behaviour is the ‘wrong action’.
However, a representative for Scientology has denied that the faith interferes with the disciplining of its followers’ children, claiming that “How a parent disciplines their child is left up to the parent.”

One of the things I hate is to see parents yelling at the kids in a public place. If Katie and Tom have a better way to take care of their kids, good on them.
Showbizspy suggests yet
Showbizspy suggests yet another aspect of religion "controlling" its adherents. Of course this is bunk as nearly everything showbizspy publishes is a misinformation, mis-statement or purely slanderous slant aimed at separating us from entertainers. Whereas good reporting would let us better understand entetainers.

Well Terryeo, you're a scientologist are'nt you? So you might be a brainwashed scientologist claiming that scientology does'nt brainwash people? Isn't scientology so controlling that it makes people disconnect from their families? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disconnection
Disconnection is a practice in Scientology, in which a Scientologist severs all ties between themselves and friends, colleagues, or family members that are deemed to be antagonistic towards Scientology. [1] [2] The practice of disconnection is a form of religious shunning.
Antagonists to the Church of Scientology are declared by the church to be "antisocial personalities", Potential Trouble Sources (PTS), or Suppressive Persons (SPs). The Church of Scientology teaches that association with such persons impedes one's spiritual growth.
According to Church statements, disconnection is used as a "last resort", only to be employed if the persons antagonistic to Scientology do not cease their antagonism -- even after being provided with "true data" about Scientology, since it is taught that usually only people with false data are antagonistic to the Church. [3]
Disconnection has sometimes ended marriages and separated children from their parents

L.Ron Hubbard, bigamist, had six kids by three different wives. One of those kids went to jail, one suicided, one denounced him repeatedly and in public. Why would anyone listen to the cult of Scientology on matters of child rearing?
