Amy Winehouse quizzed by police in Norway
According to reports, British singer Amy Winehouse spent the whole of last night being quizzed by local police in Norway last night.
According to Britain's The Sun newspaper, 24-year-old Amy was whisked away to the police station shortly after checking in to the Radisson SAS hotel, Bergen, ready for a gig tonight.
Prosecutors, however have refused to disclose as to why the 'rehab' singer was being held. But it is believed t to involve drugs.
Winehouse, who is touring Europe, had yesterday travelled from Copenhagen, Denmark.
A source told The Sun newspaper “Police came into the hotel and asked Amy to go with them to the station.
“It was so quick no one knew what was happening — not even her band.
“After all the hype of Amy’s drug use it is not surprising police are being extra cautious when she crosses borders — whether she has done something or not.”
The singer is due to play a gig in Norway’s capital, Oslo.
