Reese Witherspoon keeps her fame a secret from daughter

'Legally Blond' actress Reese Witherspoon has revealed that she keeps her fame a secret from her 8-year-old daughter, Ava, who co-incidentally has no idea her mother is an Oscar-winning actress.

Reese said: "Ava has no idea what I do and I'm trying to keep it that way. I don't want her to start hounding me for concert tickets and things!"

The 31-year-old actress - whose divorce from husband Ryan Phillippe was finalized last week - said her two children are obsessed with the US TV show 'Hannah Montana' - about a girl who lives a double life as an average teenage girl at school during the day and a famous pop singer.

The actress, who appeared on Jay Leno's 'Tonight' show on Tuesday revealed: "My daughter is eight so the coolest person in the world right now is Miley Cyrus who plays Hannah Montana.

"Ava and Deacon get to choose what they have on TV every night, and every night they choose 'Hannah Montana'!"

Reese - who is currently starring in political thriller 'Rendition', alongside Jake Gyllenhaal - also revealed she chooses her movie roles carefully - so she that she's able spend as much time as possible with her two children: "It's all about setting priorities. I try to be away from home as little as possible."
