Emma Watson named Best Actress at Nickelodeon awards

Emma Watson has won the Best Actress Award at the first attempt of a U.K. Kids Choice Nickelodeon Awards.

The popular US channel seen on Sky or cable, has become children's fondest entertainment channel, and Emma Watson was apparently delighted to be at the heart of those kids affections.

"This is so cool. I'm so thrilled," the 17-year-old Harry Potter star said.

She was even more thrilled - seeing she beat the pros - such as Cameron Diaz, Dakota Fanning and Keira Knightley for the award.

Kids around Britain have been continuously voting for the last few months, and this saw Avril Lavigne, amongst other celebrities win awards.
