David Gahan: 'I Fear For Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty'

David Gahan has exclusively revealed during an interview how he fears for the welfare of drugged up music sensations Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty.

The rocker has expressed his worry about the pair's health, and would not write off the stars having the problem for the rest of their immature lives.

Gahan told the Daily Star: “I feel an identification with them both. There’s so much temptation wherever you go in this industry.

"Nobody can tell them to get clean, they have to do it themselves."

The 'Depeche Mode' frontman should know - he nearly died of a drugs overdose in '96.
