Pete Doherty dumps fiancée

Pete Doherty has dumped stunning fiancee Irina Lazareanu after a short fall of romance, according to reports.

The Babyshambles front-man reportedly had a blazing row with the  model on Monday night, putting an end to a gleaming relationship. He is said to be furious at the way she followed him around everywhere. Or maybe it was the drugs, Pete.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Irina has been following him around like a bad smell since the moment she caught his eye.

"He got engaged in a moment of madness when he was off his head before he checked into rehab and has been questioning his sanity ever since.

"She was always telling Pete what to do and where to go, and in the end he had to tell her it was over. Everyone's happy she's gone - it wasn't doing anything for band relations."

Recently, Doherty has undergone a 6-week rehab stint for drug addiction.
