Duran Duran: Saucy new video banned

Duran Duran

It's the sauciest since 'Rio'! Duran Duran have had their raunchy, saucy and highly inappropriate music video banned from TV, according to reports.

The veteran rockers' latest video sees semi-naked women go through nervous breakdown, nearly as outrageous as the 1985 video when painted women looked at the camera rather menacingly.

In this video, Simon Le Bon and his band mates play doctors trying to force feed rehab patients, mostly women, drugs. Furthermore, there is a scene with nurses dressed in stockings attending to and bathing nude patients. Weird!

An insider told the Mirror: "It's a shame because the film is stunning. It's very arty, dark and deals with the whole celebrity culture of rehab.

"There has been so much coverage of young celebrities running off to rehab that the band wanted to poke fun at how ridiculous they are - but it's backfired on them.

"The band had shot two versions of the video but the one they wanted to release was deemed too risque, so a more toned-down and censored video will be used instead."
