Paris Hilton's Rwanda trip postponed
Paris Hilton's planned philanthropic trip to Rwanda has reportedly been postponed by the foundation responsible for organizing it.
In a statement issued today, the organization said: "Due to the restructuring of the Playing for Good Foundation, the philanthropic trip to Rwanda that the foundation had previously planned with Paris Hilton has been postponed, Paris has been a loyal and gracious supporter of Playing For Good but the foundation has to regrettably reschedule this trip. Playing for Good would like to thank Ms. Hilton for her generosity and her continued support of this initiative and is looking forward to rescheduling the trip with her at a later time."
After Paris was released from jail in June after serving 23 days for violating probation in a DUI case, she said she wanted to change her image and her ways - by doing more charity work & being a good girl, she said, at the time: "There's so much need in that area, and I feel like if I go, it will bring more attention to what people can do to help"
