Daniel De Bourg voted off X Factor

For any of you who didn't watch ITV's talent contest 'The X Factor' last night, Showbiz Spy is proud to reveal that Daniel De Bourg was VOTED OFF.

After Louis Walsh "stupidly" (according to Simon Cowell) gave Daniel a 1960s hit 'Build Me Up Buttercup', which less than impressed the judges. Cowell commented that it would look better "at a karaoke", and moreover described it as a "joke".

Walsh was the only one to save Daniel from the vote, as Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Dannii Minogue voted to keep Alisha in the show. Walsh commented to host Dermot O'Leary: "There was more to come from Daniel".

But, Daniel went in sorrow, saying: "It's been a chance to perform in front of millions of people," Daniel commented after the result was announced. "Thank you."
