Jennifer Hudson doesn't like shoes

American Idol star Jennifer Hudson, who is currently filming her scenes for the movie version of hit TV show Sex and the City in New York & plays an assistant to Carrie Bradshaw played by Sarah Jessica Parker — is having trouble adjusting to her character’s sky-high heels.

26-year-old Hudson told Usmagazine.com at the Tiffany & Co launch party for the 2008 Blue Book Collection: “They love heels! [Sex and the City producer] Michael Patrick King is like, ‘Heels all the time! Have to wear the heels!"

She added that she even has to wear them for scenes where they’re shooting her from the neck up.

“I'm not a shoe girl at all, so I'm like, ‘Are you serious?’” Hudson exclaimed. “So that’s very different for me.”

As for any movie spoilers, Hudson refused to divulge any information:

“You'll have to wait and see [the movie],” she said. “I'm not going to be the one to let the cat out of the bag.”
