Kaiser Chiefs snub James Bond
British rock band the 'Kaiser Chiefs' have revealed that they will never write a James Bond theme - because they hate the 007 films.
The 'Ruby' hit makers say they're not interested in writing new Bond tune, 'Bond 22', because they think the illustrious spy is boring.
Nick Hodgson, the Kaisers' Drummer and chief songwriter said: "We won't be doing any James Bond music. I've never seen a Bond film. Actually, I have seen a couple. They were boring.
"We were asked to write a soundtrack once. But it was for a romantic comedy, it wasn't our thing. We thought it would be interesting, but it wasn't.
"But one day it would be cool for the right sort of film. Not a big fanfare sort of thing. A much more cheerful 'Kes' where the kestrel lives, maybe."
Lead singer Ricky Wilson also revealed his favourite band is his own, he said: "It's important that your fans enjoy your music and that you enjoy it too.
"I quite like the songs we make. I'm not in a band that don't like their own music. Kaiser Chiefs are my favorite band!"
Meanwhile, actress Naomi Watts has revealed that she's 'desperate' to work with hunky Bond star, Daniel Craig, she said: ‘I am looking forward to getting back to work, I’m filming in Germany with Clive Owen on a film called The International next month. I’m also hoping to land a role in a movie with Daniel Craig. I’d love to work with him.’
