Amy Winehouse can't tour America due to arrest in Norway
Amy Winehouse's dad, Mitch has revealed that the troubled singer can't travel to America for her tour due to her recent drugs arrest in Norway.
And, according to reports, Mitch, a cab driver, has claimed that the cannabis she was found with didn’t belong to her - and she was duped into signing a confession with husband Blake Fielder-Civil..
According to The Sun newspaper, Mitch has claimed that Amy was told in Bergen last week to sign a release form – written in Norwegian – which was actually a confession.
Mitch said: “This is being dealt with now by the Norwegian authorities and the British Consulate.
“The ramifications of it is she now can’t get into the States – and she was meant to go next week.”
Yesterday, Mitch admitted that Amy is still battling with drugs, alcohol and eating.
He told British TV show This Morning: “She’s not drinking as heavily now but there are other problems.
“Bulimia is still apparent. She’s put on about a stone but it’s still affecting her health. And there’s substance abuse as well.”

This is just propaganda from
This is just propaganda from Winehouse's father. The Norwegian police has already said they assisted Winehouse with an English speaking officer that explained the case and consequences of signing. The District Attorney has already denied the request from Winehouse's lawyer. It has now gone to appeals court. If they win the right to appeal - the case goes to trial! If it goes to trial Winehouse will have to appear and testify. She risks getting convicted and fined again. And this time it would be permanent.
Appeals court in Norway does not feature a jury unless the case is serious. The whole thing is a smokescreen, Winehouse was so drugged she could NOT talk at the time of her arrest! To deny it is ridiculous and only insulting to the police officers involved.
