Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have a policy not to go out together

Despite their last public outing taking place over a year ago, actress Gwyneth Paltrow and 'Coldplay' frontman Chris Martin still remain very much a couple - after concerns surrounding the state of the couple's relationship arose, surface after Gwyneth attended several high-profile events without Chris.

According to London's Metro newspaper, a spokesperson for the 'Running with Scissors' actress claims that the couple have a mutual policy not to go out publicly together.

The spokesperson claimed: 'As a policy, Gwyneth and Chris do not talk about each other in the media, nor do they attend public functions together.'

They reportedly agreed on the policy after Chris was cautioned by police after allegedly attacking a photographer outside a restaurant in 2004.

They were last pictured in September 2006 at a party for rapper Jay-Z at London's Movida club.

The couple married in December 2003 and have three-year-old daughter, Apple.
