Tony Romo denies dating Britney Spears

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has blasted recent reports that he is in a relationship with troubled singer Britney Spears.

According to reports,  Romo, who recently signed a six-year, $67 million dollar contract with the Dallas team, told Entertainment Tonight that those sort of rumors are just another part of the job.

"I think (it) sometimes goes with this position. Being the quarterback... you're at the same place with someone else and people just run with it. It's happened a few times now, two or three times where people just say, 'You're dating whoever'... You just learn that and shake your head every once in awhile and you move on.", he said.

However, American Idol & KIIS FM host Ryan Seacrest, the sportsman wasn't only near the troubled 'Gimme More' singer this weekend at Los Angeles club Les Deux -- she gave him a lap dance.
