Evel Knievel dies aged 69

Evel Knievel Motorcycle daredevil Evel Knievel has died at the age of 69.

The hard-living stuntman became an international icon in the 1970s, with a string of highly publicized motorbike jumps.

Knievel, real name Robert Craig Jr, had been suffering diabetes and an incurable lung condition called idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

In 1999 he underwent a liver transplant, after nearly dying of Hepatitis C. He is thought to have contracted the disease through a blood transfusion following one of his bone-shattering accidents. (more…)

According to reports, Lohan, 21, allegedly offered several celebrity magazines staged pictures of her with mother Dina, sister Ali, her brothers and boyfriend Riley Giles celebrating the holidays.

The ‘Mean Girls’ star initially demanded a six-figure sum, but eventually dropped the price to $20,000 when she failed to find a buyer. (more…)

Kidman, 40, recently saw Beckham,  32, play with his soccer team LA Galaxy in Australia, and was so taken with him - that she is desperate for Becks to appear alongside her in the romantic epic.

A list of the 12 most questionable Christmas gifts has been revealed - including “Christ on a Bike”, a figurine of Jesus astride a Harley Davidson, with his robes flowing behind him.

The Ship of Fools website - which has compiled its annual list of kitsch Christmas presents - said of the $30 item: “Riding into town on a donkey was all very well in the days of sandals and wearing tea towels on your head. “But today the Messiah who wants to make an impression needs something a bit more.” (more…)
