Britney in police probe over hitting deputy with car
Britney Spears has come under the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department) probe to see whether she did in fact hit her deputy with intent, according to exclusive reports from TMZ.com.
On Friday, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed there was an investigation underway. "We are aware that Britney Spears was leaving the courthouse," said a police spokesperson
He continued: "We are also aware that a deputy was injured, but we're unable to confirm the details of the deputy's injury because the investigation is in its initial stage."
According to police sources, the injured deputy suffered "minor to moderate" injuries in the alleged incident. "It's unknown if [Spears] was the driver," said a police source.
