I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here camp given green light

November 5 2007

ITV's forthcoming reality show 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here' has been given the all clear from a poisoning threat first feared in late October, following a lengthy investigation by an independent environment team.

The show's producers feared that the celebrity contestants would not be able to do simple tasks such as swimming or fishing and the whole reality show was going to have to change if the poison scare was not sorted immediately after.

A spokesman told the Daily Star Sunday: "The show will be carrying on as planned and we are confident the water where the celebrities wash and bathe is safe."

The smash reality show hits our screens next week on ITV1 at 9pm, and Showbiz Spy will be following the show exclusively.
