Paris HiltonSocialite Paris Hilton has replaced actress Lindsay Lohan at the New Years Party in Las Vegas this year on New Years Eve, according to reports.

This comes amid speculation that Lohan would not be able to take part - reasons which have not been disclosed yet. However, Hilton was apparently delighted to fill the role, and she has got $1 million in her pinny for appearing at the LAX New Year's bash.

A source told In Touch magazine: "Paris is receiving the biggest payday ever for a one-night appearance in Vegas. Nobody draws a crowd like she does."

Lohan, who was originally billed as the guest of honour for the event, has allegedly pulled out in an attempt to shed her wild child image.

A rep for the 'Mean Girls' actress said: "She is currently focusing on her work and sobriety.
