Paul McCartney & Heather Mills: Where did it all go wrong?
Paul McCartney and Heather Mills are going through one of the most torrid times a pair of well known celebrity husband and wife could go through, and the well publicized affair has ruined the life of the Liverpudlian Beatle McCartney, while Mills has been going from strength to strength.
But reports more than eight months ago when the separation of the pair was first released to the press, Mills said she taped many arguments, and of course more recently, she has used it against him and blackmailed him through the court with money. So, it ponders the question of what her mission was with McCartney? Did she marry him for him, or for his money? I think most people have really worked this out.
More recently on GMTV, she has broken down and blamed the media. What does she expect? I think she wants more attention. Then again, I'll probably get sued for this very article, despite no allegations of what she has done, just suggesting ways of how she could've planned her long divorce proceedings before even marrying music legend.

Heather Mills in unlikeable
Heather Mills in unlikeable and nasty. I saw an interview
where she said she told Paul McCartney that he had
to take the entire blame for the breakup. She is doing the attacking and claiming to be a victim. The only thing
he deserves blame for is being too naive and not getting a prenup signed. His daughter Stella was right all along.
She should stop giving interviews. She doesn't come across
sympathetically at all.
I recall seeing them on
I recall seeing them on Larry King last year re the seal hunt in Canada. She was very worked up and out of line with a few comments and Paul put her in 'her place' in front of millions of viewers. I thought then that it was soon going to end. She didn't display any tact, and that is something he and Linda were always keenly aware of.
The Long And Whining Rant
The Long And Whining Rant (!!) that someone else left here in the comments simply demonstrates the pathetic, mindless misogyny that the papers are throwing at Heather Mills.
Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not fond of Mills either, and I think she has problems she needs to deal with. However, the hypocritical media HAS mistreated her. The sheepish fools amongst the "great" British public are too blinded by their hero worship of Our Darling Macca to grasp this simple concept.
The day after Mills' nervous breakdown/overdramatic yowling was broadcast, several newspapers quoted her as saying "I am just like Kate McCann" when she did not say this at all (read the transcript and you will see I am right). One even had the audacity to use this as a headline! Much as I find Mills distasteful, this proves her point. Not hard to understand, children, is it.
One last thing. Mills' anger may be childish or misplaced, but it has nothing to do with her disability, and to make reference to it in the manner that many people have done is in very poor taste.
Heather is huffing and
Heather is huffing and puffing but she will never blow Paul's house down. The more she rants and carries on like a lunatic on TV she gets weaker and weaker. She overstepped herself by claiming she is receiving death threats. Whether true or not, she left open the possibility that Beatrice is physically exposed. She can't take that back, can't say she was misquoted, can't say she was misinterpreted.
Now the government will more than gladly complicate her life for hounding a legendary national treasure that has paid a lot of taxes and has brought a lot of commerce to the U.K.
Paul Millar, you won't say it because the crazy loon may sue you but I'll be happy to say the words that everyone knows. This manipulative, porno acting, high class hooker connived her way into McCartney's life once he took interest in her. At her age she knew it might be her last chance to rob a big bank like Paul McCartney Inc. She sealed the deal with the only thing that would leave her inside the door... to have a child with McCartney.
She thought she could pull a fast one on him and make him fold his poker hand. She was woefully ignorant that McCartney had to sue his former mates to break the group's contract over future royalty rights that John, George and Ringo would receive from Paul's solo career after the Beatles break-up. That lawsuit lasted over 10 years and Lennon was murdered before it was settled.
How in the world did she think she could crack McCartney? He is a ruthless businessman. You don't get a 800 pound sterling fortune without being cold blooded. Does anyone really care if he is tough hombre or not?
If she has incriminating tapes on him and releases them then she's played her ace and the game is over. She loses, he loses. Blackmail only works behind the scenes because it's underhanded. You can't pull it off in public.
Yeah, it will throw more mud on him but she has zero credibility. She has displayed such psychotic behavior that the public will shrug their shoulders no matter how bad the news is from what Paul said on tape. Most people will say "hey, he's right. She's a gold-digging crazy b***h. He and the entire world will be better off when she becomes yesterday's news".
Heather, your 15 minutes are over.
I checked back on this
I checked back on this article and find that someone says my post is "simply demonstrates the pathetic, mindless misogyny that the papers are throwing at Heather Mills."
#1. There was nothing misogynistic about my comments. I don't hate women or don't mistreat them. I commented on the public actions and words of a specific individual. Sex gender played no part in what I wrote.
#2. I agree that the press is "making hay" about the scandalous behavior of Heather Mills. Paul has kept his mouth shut. Heather wants attention. The more outlandish her comments, the larger the headlines. Scandal and tragedy sell newspapers. Better to put a picture of a house fire on page 1 than flash a headline that waste sewage treatment has improved 5% over last year.
#3. The phrase "a responsible press" is an oxymoron. Misquoting did not begin with the Heather Mills story. Reporters, editors and publishers have put words in people's mouths for centuries. They splash a gigantic headline about it and if the person damaged gets a judge to order a retraction, it usually is placed on the obituary page.
#4. I agree that any reference to Heather Mill's disability is distasteful and inappropriate. This dispute is over the incompatibility of 2 people and is not associated with her disability. It's a "low blow" intended to pour gasoline on the fire of Heather Mill's rage.
#5. McCartney is a cultural icon. It is a fact. Deal with it. To a generation he was part of changing attitudes and influencing society beyond the art world. The Beatles music, primarily their early work. touches emotions that everyday people can identify and will always relate to.
#6. My "rant" wasn't a "breathless" defense of McCartney. If fact, I thought I described him as a hard nosed businessman that doesn't let anyone, not only his former band mates nor a greedy wife to take his money. I like his music and have been to his concerts. He is a extraordinary showman and has made the right choices and manipulations to have unbelievable success. He appears to be a the kind of guy you could drink a beer with and smoke a joint. But like all of us, he has a dark side and maybe is a mean SOB sometimes. I don't know. He puts his pants on 1 leg at a time like I do. He has just had a more charmed life than the rest of us.
#7. Don't lump my original posting with the tabloids or evaluate my motivations. I think Heather Mills has slipped off the edge and she is degrading herself. I feel especially bad for Beatrice. Someday, when she is old enough, she will read all this trash and be more confused. By then Paulie may have gone to Rock and Roll Heaven. This sordid episode in the press shouldn't be a family legacy for Bee or her grandchildren decades from now.
I repeat: Heather, your 15 minutes of fame (or infamy as it can be seen) are over.
Funny whenever we say
Funny whenever we say something outlandish as Heather Mills has done lately in her divorce scandle, we often regret it. Men are notoriously silent, and women usually gossip and talk endlessly. During my divorce, my lawyer said to maintain silence, and he'd do all the talking. I'm wondering about Heather too, she isn't taking advice from anyone. Sometimes anger is justified, and she is angry. Makybe the money isn't what she wants now, she wants vengeance against Pauly. I think that from where she comes, disfunctional background, her ranting and raving are par for the course. Pauly or any super star, just plainly got tired of her irate behavior. Maybe the divorce was in part to save his Beatle career, who really knows. I have a feeling he just was a bit too put under on the entire marriage deal with an underaged mate. She states she is like the Princess Diana image, and is being treated unfairly. Maybe this is true, and the reporters are hounding her endlessly. I really think she is trying to win Britains respect as a divorced woman, and I wonder why her sister Fiona hasn't helped her more or less in this battle with Paul. Don't really know on that one, but Heater's fame is probably now more than l5 minutes since the publications are constantly covering her career as an ex-rock star's wife.
After watching a movie last
After watching a movie last night on cable about the life of Linda McCartney, I feel compelled to offer up my 2 cents on Heather Mills. Whew! I am so pleased that Paul is no longer with Heather. Her behavior is totally unprofessional and she is 100% self focused. I think she uses their child to gain attention and has no idea how to handle her position in life. She is the polar opposite of Linda McCartney, the love of Paul's life. Heather asks for all the bad press she gets. No wonder Paul is divorcing her miserable backside. She can't and never will be able to hold a candle to Linda, that is most likely the underlying issue behind her infantile tantrums and accusations. No wonder Paul wants out. My message to Heather: Get over yourself and get out of the news. You have made an international joke of your self.
Does anyone remember when
Does anyone remember when the press was smearing Linda Eastman/McCartney?
