Johnny Depp buys $2.6m West Country mansion

'Pirates of The Caribbean' actor Johnny Depp has reportedly bought a new family home - $2.6 Million mansion in Britain's West Country.

According to reports, Depp, 44, fell in love with the 150-year-old Somerset mansion as soon as he clapped eyes on it.

Johnny, girlfriend Vanessa Paradis & and their 2 children are reportedly waiting for $5m worth of renovations to be completed before they move in.

Johnny's reportedly planning to install helicopter pad and swimming pool.

'He's made regular trips overseeing the work,' a source told British newspaper The Sun.

Depp already has homes in France and America as well as a 45-acre island in the Bahamas.

And, according to Britain's Now Magazine, the actor isn't the only celebrity looking for a new abode; 18-year-old High School Musical actress Vanessa Hudgens has been looking for a new pad in the Hollywood Hills.
