Harry Potter alternative book on hold due to legal row

The Harry Potter Lexicon, an alternative look at the Harry Potter book through the eyes of a fan site, has been put on hold due to more legal controversy surrounding the book from J.K Rowling's lawsuit.
Roger Rapoport, the keen publisher, said the book would not be published until it had been reviewed by a judge to see if it had breached any copyright law. Rapoport is near certain that the book doesn't.
However, Warner Bros think that it is an attempt to halt or even limit the success of Rowling's own encyclopedia, coming out sometime in 2008. Apparently, the book has breached copyright laws - the material still could be banned from ever being published.
Rowling insisted that fans should be able to celebrate her success on the internet, but not to write books and earn profit from it, to the expense of her profit margin. She added that said she took "no pleasure" in preventing the Lexicon's publication.
"On the contrary, I feel massively disappointed that this matter had to come to court at all," she said.
"Given my past good relations with the Lexicon fan site, I can only feel sad and disillusioned that this is where we have ended up."
