Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt attend London premiere of Beowulf

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt traveled to London today - for the premiere of Angelina's new movie 'Beowulf' at Leicester Square in London.

Jolie strolled down the red carpet wearing black leather pants and a tight sweater- with Brad dressed in a gray flat-cap, leaving the spotlight to Jolie.

According to reports, Jolie, 32, got her Christian Louboutin stiletto shoe stuck after standing on chewing gum on the red carpet.

In the film, Jolie plays Grendel's mother, who plots to destroy the warrior - in the film adaptation of the Old English poem about the Viking warrior Beowulf, who rescues a Danish kingdom from the deadly beast Grendel.

Angelina told reporters: "She's a great character. It's great to play a bad guy and a mom."

She added: "It’s so, so nice to see all these fans here, it always is,”

“I haven’t been here for a little bit. I lived here for a few years, and I do plan to come back more often.”

Brad Pitt and co-star Sir Anthony Hopkins joined Jolie on the red carpet at the glitzy event in Leicester Square.

However, fears over Jolie's health continued as she looked gaunt and painfully thin.

Jolie, who was once renowned for her curves has lost several pounds since the death of her mother, admitted that she had been shy about seeing her body so exposed in the animated film.
