Kate Moss' new romance on the rocks; new boyfriend just 'too nice'
Kate Moss' relationship with 'The Kills' guitarist Jamie Hince could be coming to an abrupt end - after Kate told friends "The bite just isn't there."
A friend of the supermodel told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper: "Kate called her close friend Sadie Frost when she and Jamie got back from holiday to say that she wanted to call off the relationship and needed what she called 'me time'.
She is not happy. When they were in the country last weekend, Kate was drinking alone in a pub while Jamie went for a long walk on his own.
"They argue a lot, mostly over the fact that Kate is still in touch with her ex, Pete Doherty. Jamie goes mad that she's always texting Pete and giggling at messages from him."
And, according to reports, when the pair were on holiday in France last month, Kate appeared distant from Jamie - when he tried to hug her, she stood with her hands by her sides.
Kate's pal added: "There's not the same chemistry that there was with Pete.
"Kate loves men with an edge and Jamie is just too nice for her."
Kate's former lover, badboy rocker Pete Doherty, has reportedly been bragging to friends that he can win Kate back.
The source added: "Kate would love to get back with him, but only if he's clean."
