Actress Keira Knightley hates mobile phones - so much so, she threw her Blackberry into the sea!

I hate my mobile,' she says. 'It rings and then I realize I don't want to talk to anyone. So I press ignore.'

22-year-old Keira also confesses that she used to have a Blackberry - so that she was able receive emails as well as calls, but she chucked it into the sea.

She told Elle: 'I then went, “Oh my God, I want to be eco-friendly but I've chucked a Blackberry into the sea"

'So I fished around but couldn't find it anywhere, so I had to leave it.'
