Leona Lewis' 'Bleeding Love' this year's biggest seller

British singer Leona Lewis, who won TV talent contest 'X Factor' last year, now has this year's biggest selling song - after her latest single, "Bleeding Love" flew into the top spot in the UK charts for the third week in a row, the Official Charts Company confirmed on Sunday.

'Bleeding Love' managed to shift a whopping 490,000 copies.

Just two weeks ago, Lewis smashed the 2007 record for the most singles sold in a first week of release, with sales of 218,000.

Meanwhile, Leona is set to go head-to-head with the Spice Girls in this week's album charts - when Leona's new album ‘Spirit’ goes up against the Spice Girls’ Greatest Hits album.

However, Leona has already been tipped to beat the fabulous five - as she is already outselling them by six-to-one in the  pre-sales. chart

‘The Spice Girls may have a fanatical following but even they can’t derail that juggernaut that’s Leona Lewis,’ says a source.

‘The amazing sales of her single Bleeding Love only served to ramp up enthusiasm for her album. Leona is well out in front.’

Leona is also predicted to be this year’s Christmas Number One.

‘Leona looks like the safest bet for the big seller this Christmas but it is still going to be a massive festive season for the Spice Girls,’ the source added to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper.
