Breaking News: 40 firefighters called to fire in East London
More than 40 firefighters were called to a huge fire which broke out in East London close to where the main stadium for the 2012 Olympics is to be built.
London Fire Brigade were called just after noon today following reports of a blaze in Waterden Road, Stratford.
The fire, which is thought to have started at a bus depot, created huge clouds of black smoke which could be seen right across the city.
Waterden Road runs through the site where the 2012 Olympics will be held.
The Metropolitan Police are investigating the incident but have so far discounted a terrorist motive.
London Ambulance Service have said there are no reports of any casualties.
