Lewis Hamilton says his little brother inspires him to win races
Formula One superstar Lewis Hamilton says his little brother inspires him to win races.
The 22-year-old McClaren driver says half-brother Nicholas, who suffers from cerebral palsy, has taught him never to give up.
Hamilton said: "When you think you have a tough life and things are going bad you have a think about him.
"He can't play football like I can, he can't ride a bike like I can, he can't drive a go-kart like I can but he gets up and tries it.
"He attacks it 100 per cent and if he falls he gets back up and just keeps smiling.
"I have bad races but it's never that bad, I just have to keep my head up and keep going."
Hamilton calls Nicholas before most races.
"I give him a call when I'm about to get changed. I really get a buzz and a good feeling from him," he said on BBC's Parkinson.
