Jude Law grateful his affair was exposed

Actor Jude Law has revealed that he is grateful that his secret affair with his children's nanny was exposed to the public 2 years ago.

Jude was caught in the act in 2005 - when Daisy Wright revealed details of  their secret relationship while the 'Alfie' actor was engaged to Sienna Miller.

But despite the embarrassment and hurt it caused his family and Sienna - Jude claims to be relieved that the public know everything there is to know about him.

He's quoted as saying: 'I'm not happy I hurt people.'

'But I am happy it was on such a public level. In a way it was like washing your laundry in public, and yep, there you go, you've seen all the rubbish.'

According to Now Magazine, 34-year-old Jude - who has three kids with ex-wife Sadie Frost - thinks he's off the hook.

He told Britain's News Of The World newspaper:

'Now I feel there's nothing left, you've seen it all and I can get on.'

'In a weird way that's kind of wonderful.'
