Ricky Gervais receives joke text messages from Princes William and Harry

Extras funny man Ricky Gervais receives joke text messages from Prince Harry and brother William, he has revealed.

Gervais gave the boys his number after his performance at the Concert for Diana in July and has been inundated with jokes ever since.

He said: "I still get texts, little quotes and that from the boys which is weird.

"Harry said 'give us your number'. When I told him he said 'don't give me a false one', like I don't want the royal family bothering me.

"He's really funny Harry. He's just like a normal bloke," he said on ITV's This Morning.
